Developer's GuideOverviewThank you for your interest in developing extensions for Digital Gridworks™ Studio. At this time,we are not prodiving a developer's guide online. This is primarily because as the application and supporting frameworks mature, there may be changes in the extension APIs that would break compatibilitywith externally developed extensions. However, we do not want to hinder those who would wish to start dveloping extensions now. If you feelthat you are willing to develop extensions and maintain them as the APIs change, please contact us and we will add you to the Beta Developer's Program. The current requirements for developing extensions at this time are the following: - A good understanding of the Java language
- A good understanding of the SWT framework (if you plan on doing any GUI work)
- A signed NDA (this is only required until we publish an official deverloper's guide)
- Good debugging skills
- Experience with the Eclipse IDE is not a requirement but is very useful, especially if you are doing GUI development in your extensions. An SWT GUI builder is a good addition.
- We will offer paid development support to those that neeed it on a per-incident level or at an hourly rate.
